Job Summary:

Manages the development and operations of community health improvement programs and departmental functions. Develops and participates in strategic, collaborative partnerships with hospital and community stakeholders to achieve goals. Supports assessment, planning, evaluation and reporting of community health program initiatives, and manages community benefit reporting. Assists in the development and manages the implementation of evidence-based health improvement programs, and strategic outreach and partnership initiatives, to achieve community health goals. Supports the preparation of Community Health Needs Assessments, Implementation Strategies, and the hospital's annual community benefit report and plan. Manages the timely and accurate reporting of expense and program data for mandated community benefit reporting, and contributes to measurement and evaluation of community health program outcomes. Provides operational support for the Community Health department, including deployment and management of staff and other resources.


Minimum Required:

  • Mininum of three (3) years community health benefit planning and project managermtn experience and two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in health administraion, public health, or related field.

  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions

  • Maintain attention and concentration for necessary periods; synthesize, coordinate, and analyze data, perform simple and repetitive tasks

  • Maintain a work pace appropriate to given work load

  • Perform complex and varied tasks
