AT&T Cyberspace Strategy and Acquisition Specialist (Government) in Santa Maria, California
AT&T Government Solutions is currently seeking a Cyberspace Subject Matter Expert with acquisition experience to support the 14 AF ACCC (AFFOR Communications Control Center) in the development and implementation of strategic goals to refine and improve the defense and mission capability AFPSC’s cyberspace assets supporting space mission systems.
Individual will provide strategic theories, methodologies, and direction to customer in support of AFSPC portions of the AFNET and space mission systems. Individual will review policy, guidance, and procedures to identify shortfalls and recommend fix actions.
Aid in the definition of requirements for and acquisition of new or revised cyberspace capabilities to support the AFSPC mission.
Comply with all customer security requirements, participate in customer meetings, and provide training to junior analyst, as required.
Be required to notify the government of any suspected security incidents in a timely manner and assist in the investigation of incidents, as necessary.
Strong oral and written communications skills, technical writing and briefing skills are required.
4+ years of hands-on experience in cyberspace operations is a must.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
Strong written and oral communication, technical writing, and briefing skills
Bachelors or equivalent experience
Prior experience and familiarity with development of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) or Assessment & Authorization (A&A) packages IAW DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP), National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework (RMF).
4+ years’ experience in cyberspace and space mission systems operations
Required Clearance: TS/SCI Eligible and willingness to sign consent to polygraph.
Desired • 4+ years’ hands-on experience in acquisition processes • Military Acquisition training, preferably Space Missile Center, USAF experience • DoD 8570 Compliant, minimum IAT Level II.
