Position Description:

A Software Engineer Intern will work with the Software Project Manager and Director of Engineering to create an appropriately scoped project fulfilling an immediate business need.

Job Responsibilities:

•Develop and document new features in existing software products

•Provide project assistance including managing build processes and creating tooling

•Learn new systems and development practices

•Perform other duties as assigned or needed to support Crystal Engineering Corp., a part of AMETEK, Inc.’s Mission Statement and company goals.


•Object-orient programming language such as C#, Java, C++

Position Requirements:

•Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

•Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. Individuals must be able to present and discuss project plans, requirements, test results, etc. in a team based work environment.

•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
