ARES Corporation Systems Analyst, Sr Vandenberg AFB, Lompoc, CA in Lompoc, California
ARES Corporation seeks an experienced candidate to support the operation, maintenance, and sustainment of the US Air Force's Launch and Service Contract (LISC). As part of this team, your work will directly support Vandenberg Air Force Base’s efforts to successfully launch rockets into space.
Captures system level requirements utilizing DOORS and other system engineering tools, processes and procedures to flow requirements down from the subsystem level to the individual project.
Identifies requirements consistent with the range architecture in order to meet the customer’s requirements.
Designs and develops integrated solutions to meet business requirements or enhance performance.
Leads requirements Identification, development, and coordinates changes needed across all LTRS subsystems with customer.
Analyzes potential systems and prepares supporting documentation for current and future performance, stability, interoperability, and systems management/life cycle issues.
Analyzes, decomposes and allocates requirements from the subsystem level down through the Configuration Item level to specific projects.
Applies advanced methods, theories and research techniques and assists in the development, implementation and documentation of impact assessments, architecture change recommendations and CONOPS change recommendations.
Applies test methods, theories and research techniques in the development, implementation and documentation of processes and procedures to ensure requirements verification and compliance.
Provides technical consultation and expertise on requirements applicability to project/product during reviews.
Conducts and leads review meetings (Requirement Working Group and PRR) for proposed requirements.
Assists in writing proposals to recommend process/programs and follows through on implementation.
Supports other duties as assigned.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship or U.S. naturalization
Valid U.S. Driver’s License required
In order to be selected for this position you must have:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Five or more years of experience in systems engineering or related engineering field
