Job Description: This position will support Product Engineering and Production Manufacturing of thin film sensors. Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of products to meet performance requirements. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques. Provides guidance to Engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Assist production teams in meeting production goals through day to day production support and process improvements. Additional responsibilities include: disposition of non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis as required, perform operator training, as required, perform and support First Article, and engage with factory area to address systemic issues to root cause/corrective action/preventive action to reduce scrap and rework. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date. Required Skills: Must be self-motivated and possess good communication skills, especially in documenting evaluation results.
