This position requires a current DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret. Job Description: This is an IT position supporting the Raytheon engineering community. The position is to work with a large IT program support team in a dynamic multi-platform, multi-disciplined environment. The candidate is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software related Windows infrastructure for both the classified and unclassified programs. Duties include, but are not limited to, server infrastructure maintenance and support; Windows server management (software and hardware); storage management (logical and physical); access management; data backup and restoration; software and license configuration; and desktop and workstation support. The ideal candidate is organized, able to multi-task and prioritize work, be able to work independently as well as a member of a team, and have good problem solving skills. The candidate should be customer-focused. The candidate will apply technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems by employing solutions that are practical, thorough, and consistent with the organization’s objectives. The candidate’s work will be performed under only general direction. The candidate will contribute to projects focused on the smooth transition of bringing IT solutions into production within the project life-cycle. The candidate will frequently interact with inter-organizational contacts in representing the IT Program Execution organization in the support of SAS engineering end-user community. The candidate is expected to possess knowledge of ITIL and end-user services delivery best practices and behaviors. Required Skills: Active Secret Clearance In-depth knowledge of operating system concepts and implementations Minimum 4 years of Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, management of OU) Minimum 4 years of Microsoft Windows Server systems support (e.g. Windows Server 2003, 2008,2016 Symantec Backup Exec, Symantec NetBackup, or strong understanding of server backup Understanding of network services as related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, GC, DNS, DHCP, CIFS, etc) 4 to 6 years of experience in support of Microsoft Windows desktops (e.g. Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 10 Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware Experience with an IT incident/service request system Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong customer interaction skills with users of all levels Desired Skills: Active Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain ITIL Foundations v3 Project management experience Familiar with Splunk, Centrify, and PowerShell Experience with support and administration of Microsoft SCCM, KMS, MDT, and WSUS Experience with VMware Workstation, ESXi, and vCenter support and administration Experience with support and administration of collaboration technologies (e.g. Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Lync, etc)Minimum Education Required: Minimum Education Required: Bachelors’ degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience 110885
