Job Description: Candidate applies and develops advanced methodologies, scientific principles, theories, and concepts associated with software development for embedded multi-processor systems or simulation tools. Provides solutions to unusually complex technical software problems using ingenuity and innovation. Works as a self-starter. Follows department processes and procedures. Reviews software products for soundness of technical judgment and adequacy. Interacts with senior software personnel through both written and verbal communication. Produces documentation related to the design and release of software artifacts. Develops advanced software solutions, and impacts the successful completion of supported programs and projects. Must be able to obtain/maintain DoD secret security clearance. US Citizenship required as the selected candidate will be required to obtain a US Security clearance within the first 12 months of employment Required Skills: • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in software development • Experience with developing, testing, and integrating software in a DoD environment • Experience using software source control tools and automated build environments • C# and C++ experience Must be able to obtain a secret clearance US Citizenship required Desired Skills: •Experience using embedded RTOS •Experience with Software Architecture, signal processing, or related engineering activities •Experience with developing and integrating tactical electronic warfare software •Experience with Radar Warning Receiver, radar, jammer systems and/or their simulation tools •Experience with Lean and Agile Scrum development process •Experience in all phases of the software development life-cycle •Experience in leading technical teams and mentoring *Required Education: Minimum Bachelors of Science degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons* 108040
