As a Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer you will participate on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing agile development techniques and tools to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex electronics and systems solutions. Responsibilities span the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, flight test, and field support. Candidate will be responsible for Electronics Hardware architecture and technical leadership in designing electronics for Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) camera products. Candidate will work within the RVS Electronics engineering organization to develop advanced electronics for visible, infrared, and LADAR camera systems. This position is for an individual contributor, proficient in analog and digital hardware design using FPGAs, who is expected to be able to lead engineers through a process that enables efficient designs meeting the rigor and robustness required in an aerospace and defense environment. Required Skills: • A minimum of 10 years professional engineering experience. • Leadership experience in system architecture, digital design, analog design, analysis, and test. • Prior experience successfully executing quick turn developments for commercial, defense, and/or space industries. • Experience providing management oversight to Engineering design efforts including managing budgets, resource and schedule planning. • Experience putting together and presenting detailed design reviews and program charts. • Working knowledge of electronics design process from Concept (architecture), design build, test and production. • Experience working with CAD system tools (schematic, layout, output data formats for build). Preferred experience with Altium and Mentor Expedition flows. • Experience with mixed signal system design, (including but not limited to digital programmable logic hardware design, low-voltage power supply systems, very low noise analog design, analog monitoring circuits, serial and parallel communication systems, etc). • Experience with electronics design aligned to Hi Rel Mil Specifications. • Experience using oscilloscopes, digital signal analyzers, power supplies, signal generators, meters, etc. Desired Skills: • Understanding of design integrity simulation tools for Signal integrity and power integrity (Hyperlynx, HFSS, etc). Experience using tools preferred. • Experience with interfacing to outsider contract manufactures for PCB fabrication, and Circuit card assembly. • Good leader who can interface well with team members supporting EE tasks as well as interact with other function program groups. • Working knowledge of FPGA design to effectively develop hardware and support Firmware engineering team. • Experience with high speed video signal processing systems. • Familiarity with ModelSim, SPICE, and code and functional coverage analyses. • Familiarity with Built-In-Test coverage analysis. • Proficiency in detailed circuit noise and power analysis. • Experience with XILINX Zynq and Vivado toolset. • Knowledge of real-time embedded video signal processing design, and networked intelligent sensing applications. • OPEN CV Experience. • Networking using USB 2.0/3.0, 802.11ac and other advanced network standards. Required Education: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
