Kelly Services Assembler in Goleta, California
Kelly Services is currently seeking an Assembler for one of our top clients in Goleta, CA.
As an Assembler placed with Kelly Services, you will be responsible for performing assembly operations in a given functional area by following instructions.
This is a contract to hire opportunity starting at 14/hour. The hours are Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm, or, Monday-Friday 2:30-pm- 11pm.
Additional Job Responsibilities Include:
Ensures quality of product at appropriate production rate through training and guidance
Performs required product quality checks
Has a working knowledge of quarantine procedures
Notifies lead/Supervisor of any problems encountered. Participates in problem solving activities as required
Gains and applies knowledge of product assembly procedures and documentation (i.e. Drawings, routers, BOMs, etc.) for multiple product types and processes in given functional area
Achieves good working knowledge of tools and equipment necessary to assemble product
Keeps accurate records of work performed, products produced and traceability.
Learns safety procedures and applies necessary safety rules to work area and assembly process, including information contained in MSDS.
Complies with controlled area requirements
Working knowledge of measuring devices used in the work center as required.
Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations.
High school diploma or equivalant
Ability to read and understand verbal and written documentation
Ability to complete required company documentation accurately
Must demonstrate sufficient hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
Working knowledge of basic math
Demonstrated attention to detail
